“Sustainable planet simply means ensuring a better quality of life for each and everyone, now and for future generations too”
17th October my birthday was never celebrated before as such a huge extend, since last year it became very significant day, as it collide with mission to support the millennium goal of UN. This year mission green earth SUTA campaign, thousands of people across the world in schools, universities, corporate, governmental and non-governmental organizations supported to the United Nation Millennium Development Goals to end poverty and ensure a peaceful, prosperous and equitable life for all by 2015.
In UAE, the 'Mission Green Earth Stand Up and Take Action' Campaign was held under the Royal Patronage of UN Messenger of Peace HRH Princess Haya bint Al Hussein, Wife of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai with the support of UNDP, UNEP and the International Humanitarian City.
In Abu Dhabi (UAE) this event happened enormously! 17th, 18th; 19th Oct 2008 three days frantically in different companies, parks, sites everywhere people stood up and pledged for environment and sustainability.
‘RESPONSIBILITY ‘ is always taken not given and it comes with Belongingness!!
We all feel responsible about our families, homes, our own people, jobs, property and society.
BUT, how many of us care about what would happen to our planet after few years when all its natural resources will be over?
How many of us get worried about global warming/climate changes and all the toxic waste being released into our environment?
We, individual are accountable for ecological disparity and global warming, because we don’t care about it.
BUT, how many of us care about what would happen to our planet after few years when all its natural resources will be over?

As a human being don’t you think that we should feel responsible about our planet earth too!
Just become aware and think what we are doing and what we can do to sustain the natural resources, to sustain the planet earth.

By reducing use of power/electricity, water and plants.
While using water, by switching off AC and lights when you don’t need it.
By recycling papers,materials rather than sending to landfill. (Paper, plastic, aluminium cans and many more things can be recycled).
By planting more trees on Birthdays, Anniversaries, Festivals, etc.
These small day to day habits can contribute in to 'greater support' to sustain the planet Earth!
We have started this mission to recyle the waste paper, plastic and Aluminium cans successfully on our project Al Falah Community Development.
Everyone should respect our planet earth and feel responsible about, then only we will have sustainable, green, unpolluted-healthy environment to live in.
Let's balance our Ecology with Economy.....
